Italian Barrel was started by a family who are obsessed with making the best home made sausages in the US. We’re originally from Calabria, a stunning part of Southern Italy that is renowned for beautiful beaches, warm weather and incredibly good, locally sourced food. Olives, chilli, seafood, meat, fruit and so much more is available for much of the year.
Fact: Calabrians are resourceful and love making their own food rather than the store bought stuff. Our favourite pass-time is making sausages. It’s become an obsession – trying to combine the right cut of meat with the perfect combination of seasoning. Creating new flavours. It’s where our passion lies.
